​These workshops are ideal for anyone who already enjoys drawing or painting. You don't need extensive experience - just a desire to explore the possibilities of painting in oil. Workshops can be enjoyed individually or as a progression, building knowledge and confidence along the way. If you're unsure whether a workshop is right for you, feel free to contact me before booking.

New dates are released regularly and spaces are limited to encourage an open, supportive atmosphere. Workshops do tend to fill quickly. Joining my newsletter is the best way to get early notice on new dates.

My Approach for Workshops:

• Focus on Principles: We explore essential concepts like light, colour, tone and composition and how to use them effectively to give you strong foundational tools for use in your own paintings.

• Your Natural Style: Great painting happens when you recognise your natural instincts and lean into them. We focus on the fundamental framework that drives creative decision-making - giving you the clarity and confidence to trust your own mark-making and discover a fulfilling and rewarding approach to painting.

• Clear, Accessible Guidance: Teaching is direct, practical and conversational, designed to give you ideas you can immediately bring back to your own easel.​

• Progression: Each workshop tackles a new subject with seasonal atmosphere at the core. Throughout the year we follow the seasons identifying what makes the subject unique and how we can use oil paint to capture its essence.
