Autumn Landscape Masterclass, Sat 4 November 2023, 10am-4pm

Facilities

Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided but please do bring a packed lunch with you.

Parking and toilets are available onsite.

Materials

One painting board approx 12in x 16in - preferably MDF or hardboard primed with three coats of Gesso primer (such as Winsor and Newton Gesso primer)

Oil colours - Titanium White, French Ultramarine Blue, Cadmium Yellow Pale (not too orange) or Chrome Yellow and Cadmium Red Hue. Student quality paint such as Winton by Winsor and Newton will be fine.

Brushes - Short flat (or 'brights') hog bristle brushes sizes 2, 6 and 10 and a synthetic rigger or fine small round brush.

Medium/Solvent - I will be using Zest-it paint dilutant and brush cleaner but feel free to bring along what you would normally use.

Cloths - Rags, paper towel or painting cloths are necessary for clean up.

Easel and palette - I will be using my box easel and palette but feel free to bring what you would normally use, there will be tables available should you wish to use them to stand a table top easel on.

Sketchbook and 2B pencil.

Reference

Photo reference will be provided but if you prefer, please feel free to bring along your own autumn pictures.

Cancellation

If the workshop is cancelled by us, we will make every effort to contact those booked on the workshop before the event. You will be entitled to a full refund.

If you cancel up to one week before the workshop date, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel within a week of the workshop date we regret that no refund can be given unless a replacement can be found.

Health and Safety

This is an oil painting workshop where participants are required to bring along their own materials. We ask that participants use materials manufactured by reputable companies and be aware that materials will differ between participants. A list of materials Graham will be using is given and we cannot be held responsible for any reaction allergic or otherwise to any materials used.

We are not liable for any loss, injury, death or damage to persons or property which at any time may be suffered or sustained by any person who may at any time be in or around the workshop venue.

Participants are required to conduct themselves in a safe and respectful manner at all times.

The participant will be liable for all damages to others and the venue if the injury or damage is due to participant negligence, misuse of equipment, accident, failure to follow instructions, failure to follow safety rules, misconduct or violation of any part of this agreement.

Please advise us if you have any access requirements before making the booking so we can advise you accordingly.

The images used in the workshop are intended for use within the parameters of the workshop and at home. Please do not exhibit or sell paintings produced from these images without written permission from Graham Webber.
